What is a Sports Therapy & how does it work?
Sports therapy is designed to help you understand your body better & get to the root cause of a particular issue you may have. If you’re always tight down one side, have a chronic shoulder issue, keep getting the same injury all the time etc etc, then this treatment is for you.
The session is split into two parts:
1 - We treat the immediate discomfort:
We will treat the pain or discomfort you have during the session using sports massage or dry needling, depending on your preference and the needs presented to us.
2 - We assess:

Muscle tightness and range of motion

Your ability to absorb external force

Movement & strength

Force production

Stress factors

Mobility

Injury history
We then put together a plan for you going forward, that will involve some exercises & movement patterns to help you get back to your better self. A six week package of 1-1 hour long sessions is available for those who wish to be personally guided through their rehab.
